Two long-time friends, each wanting to open their own business, neither realizing that they were looking at the same space. Conversation quickly became reality when they decided to bring a designer shoe boutique to Baltimore.
Emilie Blaze , a graduate of Tulane University 1987 with a BA in Art History, came from a long line of entrepreneurs and always wanted
her own business. Learning retail Management from Macy's, she saw her chance when the space became available. Janie Griffin, a former school teacher, and Emilie a mother of four, opened TLSB in August of 2005 to bring sophisticated, unique and gorgeous designer shoes to Baltimore.
In 2014, upon entering a new phase of life, Janie moved to Florida and began selling real estate, and Emilie became sole owner of The Little Shoebox.
The Little Shoebox offers designer shoes to a sophisticated fashion crowd who are always looking for quality, uniqueness, and gorgeous accessories. The Little Shoebox is filled with gifts for her and the home that one will not find at a mall.
It is the boutique to find the perfect pair of shoes for weddings, bat mitzvahs and the special occasions in life.
If you love beautiful things, this is the store for you!
